This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of 123 Media Max. All opinions are 100% mine.
Usually I don’t talk too much about computer software on this site (as its a Blackberry site) but this one is actually of use to Blackberry users (actually, any Smartphone user) and could prove to be a valuable addition to your desktop. 123mediamax as come up with a Blu-Ray Copy Breakthrough that will allow you to copy your blu-ray discs and burn them on DVD’s in HD format. Now you can convert your blu-Rays to play on any dvd player that can read DVDRW+ discs (and these days, try finding one that can’t!).
In addition to being able to copy the discs you can also convert DVD’s and Blu-Rays to DivX, AVI, Windows Media Video (WMV), and MPEG4 meaning you can now rip your favorite movies/tv shows with one software and then move them to your blackberry for viewing and with the holidays being here, and long travel lines everywhere who wouldn’t like to have the Latest Dr. Who releases in the palm of your hand?
123mediamax has a Trial of the software available which lets you copy DVD’s, Blu-Rays, video files to disc and more. Its actually a pretty good piece of software which will let you back up your video collection to discs that are playable on ANY Blu-Ray or DVD players and PS3′s as well. Can’t beat that with a stick can you? So check out the Blu-Ray Copy Breakthrough that the masterminds at 123mediamax have come up with and pick up a copy for yourself or the mediaphile in your life today.

OS 4.5 and Qik now working!
I can’t think of a better way to spend thanksgiving then updating the firmware on your Curve or Pearl and getting some good ole’ video loving going on with your favorite berry? If you want to try the upgrade, head over to blackberry.com/update *warning, you’ll need internet explorer to do the update*
The only thing that could make this any better is if QIK would work on your new video rocking phone. Well, guess what, it does! Or at least in Alpha anyways. Announced on the Qik Blog, qik is now supporting the curve and pearl. At least in alpha. If anyone is out shopping tonight with berry in hand, stream some video and let us see the madness. (aw who are we kidding, we’ll be fast asleep dreaming of BB accessories for Christmas!)
