5.0.0.548 for the Tour 9630 spotted in the wild!
The crew at BBLeaks found OS 5.0.0.548 in the wild and have graciously decided to share with the world. According to reports people are seeing less memory leaks and reboots with this version. What do you think?

Wow. Its been a while since we posted one of these, let alone two in one day, but here we go with two releases spotted at the same time! The first is 5.0.0.530 for the Tour. Not sure what this fixes, but if you want the latest and greatest here you go. Second up is 5.0.0.509 for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 and Bold 9000. Please be warned that upgrading to a leaked OS could result in a lot of tears and a nonfunctioning blackberry, but here you go:

This is one that the BOLD users have been loving on for a while now, and luckily, Yester18 was able to get Shao128 to port it to the 9630.
Its a Simple bold conversion to the Tour but the top Icon was tweaked a bit. It’s simple but yet with something a little more personal. The images are using Berry weather, but any weather app will work….. and Berry weather is set to none for temp and condition on home screen in the app settings.

Wow. What a week so far. First, AT&T releases an OFFICIAL release with Visual Voicemail in it (now us Bold users can rebuff the iPhone Phans) and now, FOUR hot OS leaks for the 9000, 8900, 9630, and 9530. How about that?
The release for the Bold and Curve feature threaded SMS in it, which until now was only possible with a 3rd party app. This is a huge step forward for Blackberry users and one which many people have been clamoring for for a while. There are some other features included as well as a couple that have been dropped (no tabbed browsing at the moment). If you try it, please let us know what you think.

HTC Hero theme for Curve 8900, Bold and Tour!

It appears that Blackberry Themer ElyCruz is back with a vengeance this time releasing the HOT theme HTC Hero for the Curve 8900, the Bold and the Tour.
From the forum post:
Hero to the left, Hero to the right everywhere you go there is a Hero around you. EThemes take on Hero UI.
5 user define icons, Calendar, Messages and SmsMms Preview Screens, Weather Slot Icon, QuickLaunch Icon, Media Icon and Network Icon, set it up right you would never have to leave the homescreen at all!!!!!
Weather App must be the first App on your App Screen
Apps 2-6 are the 5 user define icons on the dock
Calendar, Messages and Sms/Mms cannot be your 5 user define icons since they have there own screen. It would look odd since the today part will be covering the middle icons on the dock
You wont be able to select the today part only preview the 4 entries

Bunches of Free Blackberry Themes!

Yo, thats right! Here we are with some more free themes. This time, the Bold (9000), Curve (8900) and Tour (9630) get the love…
First up are two themes by RockDog97. The Glaskart Bottom Dock Themes have some pretty cool styling and come with either a quicklaunch icon or the today plus feature on the home screen. The icons are slick with the Glaskart look. One thing to note is that in order for the calendar to pop up, it must be in the 3rd position.

Here are two themes for the 8900 from kscrum. First is the Voyage theme. According to kscrum:
There are also two user defined buttons that turn blue to the left and right of the profiles icon. There is a hidden today area that can be accessed by scrolling up from the messages and calendar tabs. There are also large tabs that appear for missed calls and missed messages. The battery is in the “vent” to the left of the clock and the signal is in the “vent” to the right of the clock.

Also from kscrum is Infected. Infected itself is a green theme (which might not appeal to everyone) and it has some of the features everyone has come to expect in a theme. It has 10 user defined home icons and a hidden today area that can be reaced from the first two slots(put your messages folder and calendar in the first two slots on your app screen if you want the hidden today to be “reachable”. The new message indicator is a small pill that shows up in front of the icons.

First up for the tour is iTour with the hidden today and weather icon. Designed by andyriot this is a pretty simple theme with a lot of extras packed in. Nice, clean and simple.
- icon 1 = weather
- icon 2-7 = bottom dock
- icon 2-6 = goes up to today area
- today area = goes up to profiles
- icon 7 = goes up to icon 1 (weather)

Two Free TOUR 9630 Themes!!

So there’s been a ton of themes released for one of the newest devices to hit the market from Rim lately, and I wanted to give you an early Friday gift of two of them…
Up first, we have the iBerry Today Plus Theme (do not confuse this with the one from bplay) by Artem Cheban. Its a nice simple theme that features, Great Wallpaper Support ( Dock Stays on Picture Change ), 2 Latest Message Items and 2 Latest Calendar Items and Bottom Homescreen Icons are customizable by user. Exactly what we’ve all come to expect in a theme and it has some nice looking icons as well. You can have this theme sent to your phone HERE
Up next is the Simple Today+ Theme by enriquenarez. This theme features several different options (depending on the one downloaded) but the main premise is simple. Make a nice, clean today plus theme. You can grab the Today+ OTA, or the Calendar with 7 entries Today+ OTA or the Messages with 7 entries Today+ OTA or my fav the L Theme OTA.
