Go BabyGO!
If you’re like me, your three year old’s favorite thing to do is grab daddy’s blackberry and start pressing as many buttons as possible before you’re able to wrestle the device out of their little cheerio encrusted hands. Right? (please tell me its not just me!)
I fixed this on the computer by downloading a little gem called Maddie that essentially locks out the keyboard (unless you know the secret word) and lets them type whatever they want while trying to teach them letters. I don’t know how good of a teaching tool it is, but G would play with it for a while before she became bored, so it works. Thankfully, someone has decided to come up with the same for the blackberry.
Enter BabyGo by zeebu. The program is simple really. Instead of locking the keyboard to everything, it locks it so that all you can do is type letters. As a letter is pressed, the letter block appears on the screen and an appealing voice says it out loud. I downloaded it the other day and my 3 year old, Em had fun with it for half an hour. Which is good. Plus, it locks her out of doing everything else…
If you’re interested in trying out this FREE app, hit their site to find out more and download it. They do have a “pro” version in the works thats going to offer more for the older monsters.

Play Cash Cab and Millionare on your Berry!
Aug 20, 2009 Games
If you haven’t seen Discovery Channel’s hot gameshow CASH CAB
then you must be living under a rock. Ordinary people in NYC get in what they think is a cab, only to find out they’re contestants on a game show. The cab takes them where they want to go, asking questions and awarding money the whole way. Answer correctly, keep the money, get a free cab ride. Get a wrong one and they loose the money and have to pay for the ride. Its an awesome game and the questions range from easy to mind blowing.
Now you can play CASH CAB as often as you want with out leaving your couch (desk, car, etc…). From bPlay:
CASH CAB challenges players to answer a series of progressively difficult questions before they get to their destination. As the meter ticks, the questions get harder and the stakes get higher. Miss three questions, and the CASH CAB pulls over and ejects the contestants onto the curb. CASH CAB mobile features nearly 1,000 questions pulled from subjects as diverse as History, Pop Culture, Language and Science.
CASH CAB is priced at $6.99 and is available from bPlay. More photos at the end…
Also out today is the updated version of ABC’s Hit Who Wants To Be A Millionaire® 2010. If you love sitting in the hot seat and saying “That’s My Final Answer, Reig” then this is a must have as well.
